How to Access Gemini Memory Settings

Memory Settings Explained

Memory Toggle (On/Off)

The main switch. When ON, Gemini stores inferred preferences and facts from your conversations. When OFF, Gemini does not save any new memories (existing memories are preserved until manually deleted).

Gemini Apps Activity

This controls whether your Gemini conversations are saved to your Google account activity. This is separate from memory — activity saves full conversation logs, while memory saves extracted preferences.
